Our team handles carrying, loading, unloading and safe transport. Furniture disassembly and assembly, packing and disposal can also be added upon request.

At the destination, we place your furniture and boxes as agreed. Together, we check that all requested work has been completed before finishing the job.

A Look at Our Work – Private Move from Herisau to Wil

Our recent private move for a customer from Herisau to Wil SGshows what a complete move with OSTMOVE looks like in practice. We handled not only the transport, but the entire process from preparation to furniture assembly at the new home.

1. Planning & Preparation

Before moving day, we discussed the scope of the move with the customer, including the furniture to be transported and the required disassembly and assembly work. This allowed us to prepare the entire process in advance

2. Disassembly & Packing

At the pickup address, furniture that could not be transported safely in one piece was carefully disassembled. Delicate furniture, display cabinets and glass elements were protected with moving blankets, stretch film and additional packing materials.

3. Safe Loading

Once everything was prepared, we carefully loaded the furniture into the moving van. Larger and more delicate items were positioned and secured to keep them stable and protected throughout the journey.

4. Transport from Herisau to Wil

The move included a large sofa, sliding-door wardrobe, several display cabinets, TV furniture, a sideboard, a table and additional household furniture. Everything was safely transported from Herisau to Wil SG .

5. Unloading & Assembly

At the new home, we placed the furniture in the requested rooms and completed the agreed assembly work. This included rebuilding the previously disassembled wardrobe, installing a display cabinet and setting up an existing bed frame with an electric slatted bed base.
